Terms and Conditions

Responsibility:
Every reasonable effort will be made to ensure delegate comfort and the smooth delivery of all workshops and training programmes. However, Emergence Human Capital, including its appointed agents and sub-contractors, accepts no liability for any loss, damage, injury, delay, or inconvenience of any nature whatsoever (howsoever arising) suffered by delegates. Emergence Human Capital further reserves the right to cancel or reschedule any workshop or training programme due to unforeseen circumstances, for which no liability shall be accepted.

Cancellations:
Written notice of cancellation must be received no later than ten (10) calendar days prior to the commencement of the workshop or training programme. Where valid notice is received, Emergence Human Capital will refund fifty percent (50%) of the applicable fee, the balance being retained to cover venue, administrative, and training material preparation costs already incurred. Cancellations received fewer than ten (10) days before the event will result in the full fee being payable, with no refund applicable.

Substitution:
Registered delegates may be substituted at no additional cost, provided written notification is received at least forty-eight (48) hours prior to the commencement of the workshop or training programme.

Payments:
Full payment is required prior to the commencement of the workshop or training programme unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing. Proof of payment must be submitted to accounts@emergencegrowth.com before the workshop or training programme takes place. Failure to provide proof of payment may result in denial of attendance. Please note that participants and organisations based outside of South Africa will be subject to withholding tax on all our training courses. This tax will be applied in accordance with South African tax regulations and is payable by the foreign entity unless a valid tax directive or exemption, where applicable, is provided in advance. All fees quoted for international attendees are therefore exclusive of withholding tax, which will be added to the final invoice/quote.

Courier:
Additional courier charges apply to all outlying areas. Training materials will be dispatched via courier no less than fourteen (14) days prior to the workshop, subject to receipt of full payment and proof thereof. Under no circumstances will electronic copies of training materials be issued or emailed.

In-Person Attendance:
A minimum of two (2) confirmed and paid delegates is required for any workshop to proceed in person. Should this minimum not be met, Emergence Human Capital reserves the right to conduct the workshop in a virtual format only.
